I can think of a million things I love about being a girl mom and getting to play dress up with all the adorable little girl fashion is definitely on the list! I've always felt that fashion is about self expression and is deeply tied to feeling and emotion. It's a way of communicating without speaking and as a speech language pathologist, I know first hand, that not all forms of communication are verbal. My hope in designing this line is that it will encourage women and girls to feel confident, beautiful, and powerful.
For me, clothes are associated with memories. I remember what I wore to my first day of school, the dress I wore to my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, and the top I wore when my college sweetheart asked me to be his bride. When designing my first line of matching mom and mini dresses, I wanted to create something that would spark emotion and inspire moms and daughters to pause and live in the moment, for children grow all too fast and childhood memories should be celebrated.
Our mini line is designed to make girls feel feminine and elegant but also allow them to move and explore. For littles, being comfortable is key, which is why our dresses are lined in satin and made of the softest materials. I've never been a fan of the saying that the little girls are made of sugar, spice, and everything nice. If you ask me, little girls are made of a whole lot more than that. They are made of grit, strong will, intellect, passion, and curiosity (just to name a few). All of these elements have been considered and carefully worked into our designs.
So without further ado, I give you our Spring 2021 Mini Collection:
The Chloe:
If you are looking for Spring perfection...look no further than the Chloe. Peach chiffon with floral box pleating dresses makes the Chloe not only elegant but your sure to have nothing like it in your closet! A fit and flare design allows girls plenty of movement and the hips have a relaxed fit for extra comfortability. The floral sash at the waist is removable but if you ask me, it's the perfect accessory to tie the dress together.
The Betty:
Fit for royals, the Betty's regal design will give your little one the full princess experience, no fairy Godmother needed! Cap sleeves and a custom princess seam on the bodice give the Betty the perfect amount of royal details. What makes the Betty so unique is the material! It's a scuba style spandex and polyester blend that feels extra smooth on the skin. It's like wearing your favorite pair of yoga pants only much more chic.
The Evelyn:
Did the most perfect flower girl dress just arrive? The Evelyn is elegant and classy with a paisley lace bodice and pleated chiffon skirt. The detailing on this dress is exquisite. Perfect any special event, your little on will be twirling the night away in this timeless silhouette.
The Olivia:
Absolutely adorable yet so stylish, the Olivia is the perfect warm weather dress. Olivia features a tiered skirt with lots of ruffling details. The top is smocked to allow for lots of movement and comfort and the neckline is trimmed with beautiful lace. Sage green and white floral printed in an ultra soft cotton make it perfect for backyard barbecues and outdoor events.
